Learn the Guitar Fret Board
The fret board is the long thin part of the guitar sometimes called the neck. It has the strings running over it and slightly above, when you learn the guitar fret board you will know that the frets are slightly raised strips across the board. The player presses down combinations of strings in order to make different notes and chords. There are normally around 16 frets although there be more or less depending on the guitar.
Usually there are dots on the fret board between every other fret although that’s not always the case.
